What's your word for 2018?
Every year I choose a word to guide me personally and in my business. It's a powerful practice. My word for 2018 is love.
In decision-making, when we can come from a place of love instead of fear, we always end up with a better choice. It’s amazing to me how once I choose my guiding word, I seem to see and hear it everywhere in my life. I also like to have an acronym for the word that reflects the goals I have for the year and in my day to day life. For LOVE this year, my acronym is Lead Others Value Everyone!
This is important to me because I want to attract strong female leaders with good ethics and values. I've learned that everyone I meet wants to feel appreciated, important and valued. I want to be a person who does that for them. I want to show love to others and to myself. So, behind all of my trainings and decisions and thoughts this year, I will ask myself the same question - is this thought coming from a place of love or fear? And if it’s fear, what am I afraid of? Sometimes that simple question can get me back on track mentally with whatever I am dealing with. Maybe it can help you too. Or maybe this will inspire you to come up with your own word for 2018. What's your word?
Here’s to a great new year in 2018!
